FDC & Associates Corporation was retained to provide a concepatual site design for a new Wedding Reception Hall in the City of Perris. FDC was successful in approving a two (2) story 13,000 sq. ft. structural wood frame building, featuring two separate halls, 186 parking stalls, a central garden and fountain and integral landscaping. The project required several studies for development to occur, such as parking, traffic, biology, geology, archeology, public outreach, and economics. Although the city of Perris municipal code and general plan did not specify a parking requirement for reception halls, FDC was instrumental in allocating sufficient parking to meet city and project design guidelines. In the site consideration meeting, the stringent parking requirements was the major challenge.
